Final buffing of a beaut old staircase I've refurbished this week, finished in Liberon Liquid Beeswax... satisfying to say the least 👌🏼

It had been neglected over many years, moisture damaged causing all kinds of unsightly mess, and also used as access to the first floor by many a grubby tradesman over the last year or so (myself included 😄).
Pleased with the outcome 🙌🏼

The Mirka sander has been proving its worth here in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Heavy roller "effect" left by the previous "decorators" has been removed 💪🏼
Wouldn't typically put down other tradesmen's work but honestly, it was so thick it was like the walls and ceilings had been Artexed 😲

Kitchen/dining room for a lovely family in the village of Weston, finished ⚡
F&B Strong White with F&B Pitch Blue feature walls. White satinwood on all preiously painted woodwork and medium Oak satin varnish on the Oak joinery.
The use of the blue to adjoin the kitchen and dining areas worked very well indeed 👌🏼

Lovely job to carry out just finished ⚡ with some beaut choices of paint and paper, being:

Main wall areas - Stony Ground (Farrow & Ball)
Chimney breast wall areas- Aged White (Crown)
Woodwork - Aged White eggshell (Crown)
Feature wallpaper - Pure Pimpernel Black Ink (Morris)
Beams - Deep Mahogany interior satin stain varnish

There are few pleasures in life as satisfying as a mature cheddar (in this case "Black Bomber") in a seeded bread sandwich with probs too much Lurpak... followed by a piece of millionaires shortbread and a cup of tea.

Some 'before & afters' of today's finished job.
A hall, stairway and landing with a need to be less orange.
The wall fire was extinguished with cooling 'Willow Tree' and staircase spindles/newals brought to white satinwood with the rest of the woodwork. Ebony tinted satin varnish on the handrails and post caps completes the mighty makeover ⚡⚡

Had the pleasure of hanging this beaut custom mural ombre. Proved to be a really effective twist on what can be done with a wallpaper... any design or print you choose or create can be a feature wall in your home ⚡⚡

Paint & Paper Library's "Plum Brandy" ⚡ Looking at it can make you get a pang for a really boozy pudding.
