Complete transformation of a study.
Wood shelving repaid from cracking (invisible repair )
The window surround dug out, peel stop due to some of the paint condition then caulk to surround. It makes a big difference when you take your time.

See what you think. Be kind. ☺️

It’s typical a client ordered their children a swing climbing frame etc for the half term but it turns up at the end of the holidays. Nevertheless the first job of the day wet and dry the kits all up and ready for when they arrive back from school.

Enjoy ☺️

Day two of fence painting. Nothing much to say on that but I thought I’d add to my post of yesterday about the fence and decking sprayer.

I briefly mentioned the spray will cover the panel but not push the paint into the wood.

Let me explain, my first pictures shows the finish after a spray the second picture the depth of cover using a brush to push the paint into the panel.

I tend to use the spray to get into the nook and crannies. But I wouldn’t rely on a good finish by spraying alone.

Oh and this may sound obvious but some tips:

1. Cover everything you don’t want the spray to spread to. You’ll be surprised
How far the fine spray will travel

2. Check the wind direction

3. Use a face mask and googles. Trust me it will say you being very uncomfortable from the spray back and all the nasty issues of breathing in etc.

4. Get yourself a funnel and decanting container to place the paint into the spray pot

Hope this helps and if there’s anyone with further advice let’s share for all the DiYers to benefit.

Enjoy the lovely weather. 👊😓🙏

Blimey it’s hot isn’t it. Not complaining as working in the shade and a fence panel painting job for a few days.

Using a new fence panel spray machine. Now I’m not one for believing in spray machine for fence panel paint but this one actually works and is easy to clean too.

Now if anyone has painted panels you’ll know how much a pain it is to get into all the nooks and crannies but the spray gun sorted them out no sweat while I sweated from the heat.😓😢😂

I used a brush to firm in the paint to the wood to achieve a cracking finish.

More tomorrow 👊🤪🙏
