65m2 floor tiled in Whitley 👍

The floor had to be primed and screeded (60 bags of leveller 🤦🏼‍♂️)
We have fitted an anti crack mat on the whole surface to protect the tiles against any movement in the slab.
Then we tiled this floor with 60cm square porcelain tiles, using 13mm notched trowel and flexible tile adhesive.
All tiles are being back buttered meaning that we spread a layer of adhesive at the back of them before sticking them down. This allows for a better bond and grip to the floor. Once set, the tiles will be more resistant to breakage.
Finally we grouted all the joints with a colour matching grout to create more uniformity.

Good work takes time! Most people can’t be bothered going through all these steps. But you can’t mess with this process or you will end up with a floor that will not last. 🫡

So make sure your tiler does it the right way.
