Today we installed this 12x8ft greenhouse base. In the sun for a change! We levelled and cemented the existing gravel. Installed w**d proof membrane and 24 2x2ft riven buff concrete slabs.

We finished this concrete driveway extension this morning.

Cleared original border, removed tree stumps and roots.

Removed existing York stone flags.

Excavated to 200mm.

Reinfocing bars drilled in to tie into existing concrete.

Compacted 100mm type 1 MOT sub base.

A142 steel reinforcing mesh.

Timber shuttering.

Poured and tamped 3 cubic metres of extra strong C35 concrete.

Cured using a polythene sheet covering for 7 days.

There was an option to then surface over the top to achieve uniformity, but the client wanted function over form.
