Amenity ground services have been very busy with bowling clubs planning turf maintenance programmes for 2026 , but Over the winter months we have been out about providing aeration services to clubs and winter spraying programmes iron and seaweed .

We would just like to say thank you to all clients for another busy and wonderful year at Amenity Ground Services - your support means the world to us.

Our team has continued to work hard with a range of exciting projects from crown bowling green renovations to estate maintenance. Our team has grown this year in more ways than one with the addition of two grandsons just 5 weeks apart, keeping AGS on its toes.

We look forward to the year ahead, and would like to wish all clients a very merry christmas and a happy new year.

Please find below a review of the work you have undertaken to date.



In the 12 months since you started work we have seen an overall improvement to the green that is beyond our expectations. The majority of the moss has been removed and the bald areas are now covered in grass, even the large corner that never had much grass on it, due to the presence of a number of huge trees. The grass on the green appears healthier and in better condition than it was when you started and we now have a bowling green to be proud of. Club members who have been here for 20 years or more say the green has never looked better. You have been very easy to work with and have proved very flexible and have always found a way to work around our various bowling commitments. Thank you to you and your team for all your hard work and we look forward to working with you in the future.

It has certainly been a busy year for Amenity Ground Services and our team. We have been busy with our regular clients on the ground and garden maintenance side of the company throughout the year 🏡🪴

On the other side of business in turf care and bowling greens - it has been an amazing year with having been asked to prepare greens for the Champions of Champions for the British Crown Green Association at Owley Wood Club.

The team have worked extremely hard and are now taking Christmas to celebrate and rest, ready for the new season ahead 🎄🎅

So we have been out spraying , Iron and fungicides .
