What palette works in the northern English light, IThe clients wanted this room which is. a Bathroom for relaxing evenings when the clients wanted to be reminded of those nights and experiences of travels and especially from South America. I wanted the bathroom to feel more authentic and relaxing but also practical for those long soaks after a hard day. We are always looking for ways to make all those elements work. The effect is dramatic, yet warm. Balancing this is the use is both accent and ambient lighting as well as incorporating the client’s art. We always try to source materials from uk suppliers to reduce miles and for the benefit of the Uk economy. The bath is by Lusso stone and tiles from Clarissa Hulse supplied by artisan of Devizes and lighting from Norwich lighting and pendants from Heals.

When designing a bedroom.
You want it to be cocooning and comfortable. We were asked to design this bedroom to also have good lighting, both accent and practicality, but also to have good storage. A dressing table and mirror with both a wardrobe and chest of draws. The client also wanted us to work with an oriental feel as had a number of objects collected from their travels. Your entrance Hall is what your visitors see when they come to your home. It is a reflection of the rest of the home. It should be welcoming and practical for daily use. With good lighting.
