Had a lot of fun designing and installing this hot water priority unvented system for fantastic Samuel, Georgia and Murphy,
Clients had not been happy with the performance of a combi boiler at their previous property and wanted something with a bit more.
Utilising the fantastic Viessmann 0100 19kw system boiler (12 year warranty) and a Joule cyclone air 170L high gain unvented cylinder with internal expansion vessel, we have managed to squeeze a hell of a high performance system into a small space that will become a cupboard. The system behaves similarly to a combi boiler but is able to deliver up to 65 degrees at point of use and delivering up to 30litres a minute whilst being used at multiple points.
The boiler looks after the hot water at all times by monitoring the cylinder temp, and with open therm controls the boilers burner and flow temps are also controlled by the boiler/thermostat to keep the property warm in the most efficient way possible by using multiple different variables like external temp, time taken to increase internal temp, when the clients are at home ect, to match the exact heating demand.
We also replumbed the house fitted some beautiful cast iron rads and ran a new gas main with feed for a future gas hob, post to follow
This is in my opinion the best performing and most efficient gas based system you can have.
