2 metre high gates fitted today. We used a 2.7m pressure treated glulam post. It's the first time we've used one and we are very pleased with it. (glue-laminated) posts are excellent for gate posts because they are engineered from multiple layers of kiln-dried timber bonded with structural adhesives, they are significantly stronger, straighter, and more resistant to twisting and warping than traditional solid-sawn timber posts.
