Sometimes a freshen up can be as good as getting a new kitchen but at a fraction of the total cost.
Just before Christmas this kitchen & utility room got fully redecorated, walls, ceiling, doors and skirtings. I added a feature panelled wall with picture shelf. The kitchen got new compact laminate worktops, sink, taps, herringbone tiled splash back, new door handles to all the units and 3 of the wall units were also modified to add a reeded glass front with new lighting under and in the new units. I also changed all the switches and sockets from white plastic to brushed stainless steel. The end result a happy customer and a beautifully refreshed kitchen ready for the family to enjoy over the Christmas holidays.

Who hasn’t got some IKEA flatpack in their home?? The modular PAX wardrobes are great to maximise storage, but what if your ceilings are too low? No worries, I can reduce the size to make them fit. These had to be cut down by 36mm to get them in this room. I can also adjust the width if needed to get them into a tight spot.

Whilst we’re on the topic of maximising storage in new builds I’ve also just finished fitting a new loft hatch and ladder and boarding a section of loft space in another new build. All the boards were fitted on loft legs in order to maintain all the insulation & this family gained valuable space for all those Christmas decorations and suitcases!!
