We are currently recruiting an experienced Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join our growing, family-run business.

Location: Covering Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield
All work is within one hour of Mansfield. No long-distance travel.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary:

£40,000 per year, increasing to £50,000 after 6 months

Uncapped bonus opportunity
What we provide:

Fuel card

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in servicing and breakdowns
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Confident working independently
Professional attitude and good customer manner

🔧 How to Top Up Your Boiler Pressure – Common Filling Loops Explained 🔧
Low pressure? Here’s a quick guide to the most common boiler filling loops and how to use them safely 👇
⬅️ Top Left – Ideal Boiler
Turn both blue taps until the pressure gauge underneath the boiler (far left) reaches 1.5 bar.
Once there, turn both taps off.
⬅️ Bottom Left – Worcester Bosch (Internal Loop)
Simply pull the blue tab until the pressure gauge on the front of the boiler sits in the middle of the green zone.
Release the tab once pressure is correct.
➡️ Top Right – Worcester Bosch (Key Filling Loop)
• Push the white filling key into the hole next to the small white square
• Turn the key to the open position (as shown on the key)
• Turn the small white block next to it
• Watch the front gauge and stop at 1.5 bar
• Turn everything back to the closed position and remove the key
➡️ Bottom Right – External Filling Loop (Most Common)
Turn both black taps until the pressure gauge reaches 1.5 bar, then turn both taps off fully.
⚠️ Important:
Never over-pressurise your boiler. If pressure goes above 2 bar, stop immediately.
