One of my absolute favourite details in second fix joinery! The cock-beaded mould is a well-loved detail in traditional joinery — but rarely is it executed like this.
Re-engineering the classic profile and carrying it cleanly through one of the most challenging areas: the hinge section.

Following up on the amazing review from our last post, here’s a look at the stunning results of our recent project. Our clients, who have a deep love for mid-century design, entrusted us to create a bespoke handmade kitchen.

We incorporated a handle design inspired by their mid-century furniture, and even matched the door color to the flooring they have elsewhere in the home. To top it off, we designed a unique brick-sided shelving unit that perfectly captures the essence of the mid-century aesthetic.

We’ve been so busy recently we’ve not had a moment to post anything, but here’s an extension we completed recently. Our customers requested reclaimed bricks to match in with the house, Crittall style windows and doors and a roof lantern. They are diy enthusiasts so asked us to leave them with a blank canvas ready for them to install their own kitchen! 🧱
