We seem to have spent quite a bit of time over the last two weekends plant shopping on behalf of our customers. JW Stone and Sons. offers a great choice of plants - perennials, bedding plants, small shrubs, grow your own vegetables and summer salads. Great value plants,friendly advice and help if required. A van full of plants all planted up in various gardens with the ‘care instruction’ of please water regularly 💧💧💧💧

Half way through the week and we’ve survived so far 🤣 Great to see so much colour emerging- lots to do in every garden we’ve visited - especially as each one has missed a visit. This is why we generally schedule our customers on fortnightly slots.

Guilty of not taking enough photos of the gardens we complete visits for. When we have a busy schedule (which is everyday) it’s a challenge to make sure we collect all our equipment up and keep to timings. So if your garden doesn’t appear on our post it’s nothing personal. 🫣😆 It’s just that we’ve not got a phone to hand to take the photo.

Do you think the Boss will notice if I go missing? - perhaps I can hide under the bed and stay? ….. despite the very unpredictable weather , wind and a bit more rain (than we hoped) it’s been fabulous!!!! You can’t work hard without enjoying some down time. Back to reality on and hoping that spring has finally sprung on our return

We’re taking a break over Easter but our spring /summer full time diary has fully kicked back in so all our regular fortnightly gardens are back on board .
We often get asked how we operate as a small business-
So our diary is structured into time slots which means we know which gardens and what location we’ll be in on any given day. We leave one day a month in the diary to complete one off ‘adhoc’ jobs but a number of these are already booked out for 2026 for returning customers . As the weather finally improves we are starting to get lots of enquiries for one off visits to be completed and for regular visits. As we can’t say ‘yes’ to everything and everybody, we are happy to add people to a wait list for when a suitable slot becomes available or check future availability . Grateful to our loyal customers.
