Stu Price Painter & Decorator Trained as a traditional painter & decorator. I paint on all surfaces, hang wall-papers, fit coving, stain & varnish all wood types and apply chalk paints.

is a Chilwell based business established in 2016 and I am forming a reputation built upon the high standards and excellent customer service, that I learnt as a young apprentice decorator working for my father, during the 1980’s into the early 90s. As a result of this, I am building a varied and impressive loyal client portfolio, where my work is being recommended on to n

ew customers. I undertake internal and external work on all types of properties, whether your property is old or new, I have the expertise and experience to be able to achieve the workmanship and finish you are looking for. I generally work on my own however, on occasions I work with other partner decorators, which offers further flexibilities to work on larger decorating jobs and allowing the option to work to tighter schedules. Whilst I am a Chilwell (NG9) based decorating business, I do have clients spread across a wide area and are happy to travel to locations further afield.

A number of people have asked me recently if I do decorating repairs or smaller decorating jobs and the answer to this is yes.

For example, a customer had a new bathroom installed and they had the entrance door moved to accommodate the new bathroom fittings, but this meant that the existing 1930's architrave both inside and outside had to be removed and then replaced by a joiner and so they were slightly worse for wear and the bathroom door was also in need of some attention, so I lovingly repaired, re-shaped and repainted the woodwork, whilst repainting – in the walls either side of the new door location and with care and attention to detail, I restored this part of their home, to its former beauty.
