I was commissioned to create a garden design that was to be contemporary in terms of astestics, form, and planting. The garden dedign had to be Pet friendly, as bei functional specifically for the clients two African Grey Parrots, the clients intend to have the proposed seating area of the garden to be covered by an aviary; allowing the parrots the freedom to fly between the house and the garden. Some pics of one of my designs that has recently been completed by Living Landscapes - a Japanese Inspired Garden in Wollaton - a zen gravel area with sedum matting, a bespoke fence and gate, a corten steel bowl to bring water and reflection into the scheme and lift the coppers of the acer and planting come the autumn.

I'm going to make it my aim to visit all of these at some point in my life!

Some handdrawn concepts that were recently presented to the client. The client has two parrots and the area in the bottom right hand corner of the design will be covered by a bespoke aviary allowing the birds to have free run between the house and that section of the garden. This area will also the main area for socialising as such this area has several unique design elements as detailed below.
