Here’s one of our jobs that made a real impact on the look of our customers house once complete. They a small flat roof extension that looked out of place and felt quite hemmed in inside so they asked us to replace it with a gabled roof that links to the original with a large window that really took advantage of their incredible garden making it a much more inviting room to use. This was a complicated one as doing it with a ruptured Achilles threw some challenges our way but we ploughed on through. Thankfully we had the generosity of help from a couple more Wroughton’s along the way that was really appreciated! We also had the challenge of sourcing roof tiles and ridges that matched the original build which were difficult to find but find them we did and the small details make all the difference. A fair bit of steel work went into this build both calculated and logistical and it all made the job even more satisfying at the end. A very active wasp nest also threw another curve ball our way but we managed and us and our customers were thrilled with the results!

Here’s a very smart new kitchen and utility we fitted recently for our wonderful repeat customers. Unfortunately I forgot before pictures for this one but the old kitchen had become a bit tired with areas that needed attention so they decided to bite the bullet and go for a new one and we think it looks great! The worktops are solid wood and we added a few bespoke parts ourselves like the solid wood shelving between the wall units to the adapted pantry unit that has come in very handy! We also had lighting above and below the wall units as well as tiling above solid wood upstands. We’re very pleased with the outcome of this one and our customers are too!

One of our latest completions was to take down this conservatory and replace it with a single storey extension with new bifold doors, velux windows and knock through into the house as well as fitting a new kitchen to create and large open plan kitchen/diner/living area. This also means it can be used year round unlike a lot of conservatory’s and gives the option to have a lot more open access to the garden which the three dogs love! Very pleased with the outcome of this one and our customers love it too!

Here’s the results of our latest bathroom which came straight after the previous one. This one has made a huge impact for a bathroom on a smaller scale. We used the dark panelling for the new walk in shower with black trims for the screens and panels, black shower/tap and black towel radiator. The wooden panelling behind the radiator added extra wow factor especially with the LED lighting either side and round the mirror. The ceiling lights also have different light settings so our customers can choose what brightness they’d like. We’ve also replaced the old floor tiles with vinyl click grey oak effect flooring which has a nice feel under foot. Our customers (from Jamaica) are over the moon with the results and even very generously treated us to a two course Jamaican meal on our final day that was delicious

Here’s a bathroom we recently completed that has made a difference and become a lot more convenient. We knocked down the wall separating the toilet and bath to make one bigger room. Bricked up the toilet window to allow for a new towel radiator at the end of the shower bath, repositioned the toilet and basin to the other side of the room with new storage units. We’ve also added new tiling, flooring, new wall along the landing with a repositioned door and a new window. We also reconfigured the plumbing inside and out and I think you’ll agree that it now make a lot more sense and has benefitted our customers. Job done!

A recent garage conversion we’ve just completed to be used as a new studio/chill out area. We boarded over the ceiling timbers to create a new loft area for storage, then built frames to lift the floor, put timbers all round the walls and insulated the lot. Boarded, lighting, electrics, plastered, painted, new flooring and new wall heaters for those more chilly days. The patio doors let in plenty of light without taking up too much wall space. Now just for our customers to furnish it and started enjoying their new space!

Here’s our latest completion. This time we haven’t increased the footprint but a big difference has been made!
Our customers wanted their french doors and patio doors (separated by a brick pillar) all taking out and replacing with a nice new set of bi-fold doors. They also wanted a canopy over the patio we had newly laid, to give that extra shelter and the ability to open the bi-folds and still use the outside space when the weather isn’t playing ball! We also put in three new velux windows to add the all important extra light!
Along with new spot lights throughout, new outside lighting and all new soffits and fascia’s in anthracite to match the bi-folds.
It’s been a pleasure to work on this one and we’re pleased to leave with more happy customers!

Our latest completion was to change a glass roof with french doors and side windows into a solid, insulated roof with bi fold doors. This was well worth doing as the previous glass roof made the room like an oven when the sun shone on it and essentially making it unusable. Now with the new roof, the room can be used all year round and the bi folds still allow a lot of light and air in with better vision of the garden. This one was a really pleasure and we’re so pleased our customers were so complementary with the results.

Here’s an example of a smaller job we recently completed.
• Replacing existing dark laminate worktops for a lighter stone effect laminate.
• Replacing old metal sink for a new, smart resin sink.
• Remove old mosaic tiles for new metro stone colour tiles with brushed chrome trim.
It’s give the kitchen a much brighter, new feel without having to spend too much!

Our latest completion is a beautiful, composite, wood grained, anthracite deck with (a first for us) an aluminium, anthracite pergola. Originally this was a basic patio and now it’s transformed the area to a lovely social space with the option to be outside rain or shine!

Our latest project was an internal garage conversion. A big unused area that’s now created a really big social space for all the family! We’ve also fitted a new side door to allow maximum light in, along with a beautiful new wooden window (which was a requirement for the house). We’ve left this one with elements still needing to be completed like the kitchen to be fitted, the painting/decorating to be finished and the window to be fully stained etc, but our customer is a keen DIYer and loves a challenge. This one has been a pleasure and has made a big impact which is what we love to see! On to the next one!
