Reconditioning at its best!

This week we completed a installation that showcases the best of what we do.

This AGA was inherited by the customers when they purchased their property and was quickly fallen in love with. They decided that they wanted to incorporate it in their property as the feature after upcoming renovations and contacted us to assist.

Around May; we came to their property to safely dismantle, package and prepare for a full resotration.

We meticulously reconditioned this cooker to a like a new condition despite it being around 60 years old!

In total we stored this cooker for around 6 months until our customers were ready for its return.

On Tuesday we reinstalled it into the property where it has always proudly been. Completing its restoration process.

We’ve had a fantastic summer installing beautiful cookers up and down the country and we thought we’d share some of our favourites. 💕

Moving into a typically busier season we encourage customers who are considering to add a AGA to their property to contact us sooner rather than later to avoid any dissapointment on a pre Christmas installation on bespoke orders.

Do note we typically stock 20 or so pre refurbished AGAs in various colours and sizes to help last minute customers if required.

Attention potential customers ‼️

Recent closure of one of the industry’s leading vitreous enamellers is forcing us to unfortunately lengthen lead times on reconditioned AGA sales.

Estimated lead times on typical services:

Fully reconditioned AGA sale: 8 weeks, however we do encourage earlier orders and do have space to store if needed

Flexible electric conversions (EControl/electrickit): 4/5 weeks

Removals: 2/3 weeks

Enamel work (front plate swap): 8 weeks

Enamel work (top & lids): 2/3 weeks
