I'm sat here enjoying a relaxing Sunday morning, when my friend Sanjay and his mum appear on the TV on Dragons Den.

For anyone who has sampled one of their gorgeous spice tins, lovingly wrapped in recycled Sari material, you'll know im not lying.

They didn't get investment but for good reason. They have a beautiful family business already and having an investor could break their bond.

I've sampled not only their various spice tins and recipes, but I've had many of his mums gorgeous hand-made samosas. 😍

There are some things about closing that hurt my heart and not meeting amazing suppliers like Sanjay is one of them.

Scrolled my personal memories on Facebook and I came across this.

Despite the heartache, lack of money etc i ploughed on for another 18 months to try and save the shop.

Hindsight is wonderful and I should have made the decision sooner, but in 2025 the decision wasn't mine to make anymore and I had no choice but to close the shop.

We tried to keep going, but it's not a good place to be housed in a warehouse.

So you have 10 weeks left, to grab cards, home fragrance, ornaments, lamps, mirrors, artwork etc.

Our last day is Saturday 31st October. One of my favourite days of the year, Halloween. 🦇🎃

Pop along Thursday-Saturday 9am-1pm
