This patio was covered by a couple of years’ worth of fallen leaves, creating the perfect conditions for w**ds to take hold between the paving joints.
Around a month ago, we cleared away the leaf build-up and treated all w**ds with a dual-action herbicide. Rather than simply removing the visible growth, we took the time to ensure the w**ds were killed right down to the roots.
Fast forward, and we’ve completed the final stage with a thorough pressure wash, revealing a much cleaner and fresher-looking patio.
It’s always great working with customers who understand that good results come from following the proper process. Taking shortcuts might make things look tidy for a few weeks, but treating the root cause helps prevent w**ds returning and gives a much longer-lasting result.
We also made sure all the drains were left clean and clear once the work was completed. Jobs like this can create plenty of debris, so we always take the time to leave everything tidy and functioning properly — leaving it better than we found it.
The next step is for a family member to arrange re-pointing of the patio joints, which will really finish the area off and have it looking fantastic for the summer ☀️
