Another project that we recently completed.
We started with removing the old shed to make way for a lovely Indian sandstone patio, slightly raised using sleepers to contain the 150mm compacted sub base and 50mm full bed of concrete, also using a recessed manhole cover to blend into the patio rather than the awful looking metal ones. The customer had a few bamboo in pots that they wanted in a planter, we built the planter using sleepers, then used a dpm to protect the sleepers from being in contact with the soil so no worries for any future rot. Then a membrane along the bottom of the planter to ensure the bamboo is not going to spread any further than the planter, filled with fresh compost and bamboo planted. All of the fences were painted, the back using green ducks back and the sides using a clear waterproof protection. And lastly we installed a new shed, set on gravel grids and also painted with the ducks back paint.
All good to go and ready for the summer πŸ™‚

A lot of natural stone paving recently..
This particular one is a fossil mint sandstone from Stone Traders UK Ltd.
Looks amazing with all the different colours, and has a few fossilised plants on them. On this job the customer had placed his own sub base down, we added to that with a dry sand/cement mix and compacted the whole areato create a solid base, then a 50mm concrete full bed and each tile was primered.
Another garden ready for the summer.πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘Œ

This lovely tandur limestone path we recently completed for a customer, we overlaid the path so we could cut a nice curved path, as always it's laid on a 150mm compacted sub base, 50mm full bed of concrete and all pavers primered, and a strong sand/cement mix for the pointing. Then a nice new turf to finish it all off. As usual Stone Traders UK Ltd. Supplied the pavers.
Another very happy customer. πŸ™‚πŸ‘Œ

From an overgrown hidden caravan to an amazing riverside relaxation area..😍
This project involved uncovering and removing a caravan that had been sat for years, clearing the area and building a concrete platform for a whirlpool bath. The whirlpool bath had to be raised as its only a few meters from the river Thames and is known to flood every now and then.
Once the whirlpool bath was in place, all electrics and lights done by Windsor Electrics as always, we then built the slatted fencing using smoothed landscaping timber and bitumenous paint on the posts.
The decking was built using a full 6x2 plastic frame and sat on ground screws, and the decking is Millboard, premium enhanced grain in burnt cedar colour with matching bullnose edging and fascia board.
An amazing transformation and an amazing spot to relax in the evenings.
Customer is over the moon.πŸ˜ŠπŸ™‚

With the weather that we have been having causing delays, coming home soaked, covered in mud and freezing cold it does sometimes make you think about your choice of career..
But when you get feedback like this, it makes it worth it. Having a customer come to you with an idea drawn on paper and then getting a chance to make it a reality makes it all worth it. 😊

Not updated my Facebook in a while as been so busy. Here is a quick before and after video of out latest project. A complete garden transformation, we stripped the whole garden down to soil, removing the old patio, paths and lawn. It was replaced with around 90m2 of white porcelain tiles from Stone Traders UK Ltd. with a charcoal block edging, all laid on a compacted 150mm sub base, 50mm full bed of concrete and all tiles primered. The ground was leveled for the 250m2 lawn areas, new topsoil added and new premium turf laid.
We had plenty of fun dodging the rain and waiting for the cold weather to pass.
Customers very happy and can't wait for the sunny days to enjoy the new garden.πŸ™‚

Hi all, Im potentially looking to employ someone with experience in landscaping, ideally they will have experience in laying patios, fencing and all the other usual landscaping duties. As my business is growing, jobs are stacking up and I need someone that can help improve productivity on my projects.
Please drop me a message if interested.

Another project we just completed for a repeat customer
Removal of old shed, some conifers and fence.
We then prepared a concrete Base for a small keter shed and another lovely garden cabin, complete with UPVC toughened double glazed windows and doors and a rubber EPDM roof. We also built a small retaining sleeper wall to hold back the new black ice gravel, and continued the sleepers into a border along the length of the garden. All electrics supplied by Mark at Windsor Electrics so it's perfect for a home office, home gym, maybe even a nice bar area to entertain the guests 😊
