Baxi 800 combi full strip down service clean main heat exchanger, clean condense trap and remove any magnetite from the filter. Recharge expansion vessel and check if corrosion inhibitor is still present in the system water.
Do all safety checks to manufacturers instructions from combustion performance and gas consumption.

🥶No🥶Heat/Hot water?🥶

❄️During this cold snap it could be possible for an external pipe connected to your boiler to freeze❄️

🥶This will prevent your boiler from working and could possibly cause damage to the appliance 🥶

👂🏻The first sign of this may be a gurgling noise coming from your boiler 👂🏻

🤷🏻‍♂️What to do? You may be able to thaw the pipe yourself saving yourself money and inconvenience 👍🏻

🤳The picture I have attached is to give an example of scale in a common setting. The pipe is normally directly below the flue for the boiler and about 3 feet or a meter below 👇🏻

🔥Boil a full kettle and pour it over the plastic pipe that normally will lead into a drain grid or another larger pipe. Pay particular attention to elbows and bends. Repeat a few times and it may be worth throwing some salt down to prevent the water becoming a slip hazard 🤦🏻‍♂️

Just finished this bathroom in chadderton. It was very challenging due to the size and layout of the room , but we managed to create space for a separate floor standing bath, toilet, exposed black frame vanity sink and a quadrant shower enclosure.
We added some raised platforms with accent lighting to create a more spacious, sectional bathroom
All fully tiled with the help and expertise of Stuart McConville.
