Where to start? What a journey this Ramadan has been, preparing for my 6th contest all while fasting! And I must say its the fittest and sharpest I have ever felt. When I took on this challenge me and Joe knew it would be hard work but it can be done and alhamdulillah we got it done and all while raising money for charity as well.
I want people to know anything can be achieved, this time last year, I had only got out of hospital after fighting one of my worst flare ups with my Colitis. I had a plan set out and wouldn't let this disease the best of me. I' have trained through pain, constant fatigue, mental fatigue, constant bleeding and just the urge not to continue with anything at all, and just whither away alone at home. BUT this isn't what I wanted, fast forward a year 3 fights in and I am in the best shape or health I have been in a very long time! I kid you not when I say dragged me through the hell to get me here, obviously he'd take me there first π€£π€£ but he'd make sure I'd rise above it and keep pushing my limits.
If I can do what I do through all that so can you, MIND OVER MATTER. WHATS YOUR EXCUSE? HAVE FAITH AND GET THE WORK IN πͺπΎβ€οΈππΎ
