Part 1: Energy-Positive home refurbished using Passivhaus principles β "Lounge"
A considered use of colour across this bedroom, storage room, and two office spaces.
Soft off-whites paired with muted blues and gentle greens enhance the natural light, complement the timber details, and create calm, focused spaces that feel grounded and breathable.
All finishes were completed using trace-VOC, mineral-based, environmentally friendly paints, aligning with the ethos of a truly sustainable, passive home.

Thereβs been something really special about working on this project. The transformation so far has been phenomenal.
From heavily sanding back the beams and removing dark staining and deep cut marks, through to oiling and finally caulking. Weβve also oiled the wooden doors, sills, and oak flooring to bring out their natural character and give them good, long-lasting protection.
The room itself has been taken from fresh plaster right through to the finished stages you see here, a very satisfying process.
More photos coming soon as we continue through the rest of the property.
