We currently trade in the Shropshire, Welsh Border and Cheshire areas covering both the private and commercial sectors. We cover all aspects of groundwork, landscaping and ground maintenance; from paving to pruning, foundations to fencing. It's coming up to 5 year's since GA Contracting official did it's last job before I stopped to move onto building log homes, what's more I have realised I never put up the last job I did.
So with this post comes the long waited full stop in the final chapter (most probably) of GA Contracting.

This Argie started out as a grass bank over a bridge at an old watermill. The height is a crucial part of an Argie, as being part of a flood defence system it holds flood water back. Unfortunatly it was slowly being worn away with the tractors needed to keep the grounds tidy.
The home owner was a very competent machine driver so he took care of the first stage, we then topped up where needed with MOT class1 and then paved it with custom cobbles, which add to the property very well.
Done in two stages the Argie is now back to original height and ready for anything.

The problem with new build houses is the garden is never completed, you get a few slabs by the back door and thats it.
Here we made a big useable area, to either entertain or just share quiet summer BBQ's.
We also built a custom carport and gates to help with the limited parking, adding a safe and secure area for any new or existing vehicles.

After having a small amount of money given to the church to improve the play area, we stepped in to design and build this play tower.
Their grant just about covered the materials so we donated the time and labour to build it.

"A blank slate" was how this was first described by the properties owner.
Working out a plan for an idea was easy enough as they had done their homework and had a few ideas, thats where we came into it and made the plan come to life.
Now its a beautiful area that compliments the new extention.
