Myself and Gemma have been in Fowey beginning of this week sorting a newly installed slate floor which has had everything thrown and walked on it . It’s taken 4 different products and a bit of hard work to get it looking something like , not a bad transformation in the end .

Full subfloor prep , grind, crack repair,Liquid DPM and fibre reinforced smoothing compound on three rooms and a cupboard.then fully glued down Texture’s Herringbone at Harlyn Bay , Cornwall for myself and Gemma this week , all ready for the builders to put skirts back on then decorate. After Richfords fire and flood done a drying out process after the house got flooded .

Bit of subfloor preparation for myself and Gemma back side of this week , floor grind using the Wolff Neo , primed the floor then applied Uzin 203 crack repair mess , then Uzin 481 epoxy DPM , 280 gritty primer , followed by our last step Uzin 196 fibre reinforced smoothing compound . All ready for setting out Texture’s Heringbone LVT Monday morning .

That’s the second part of our job over Polzeath done this week , myself and Gemma have primed the old floor , applied Uzin 196 smoothing compound, then we glued down colonia LVT tile with grout strips . This will be so much easier for our client to look after in there en-suites . Look out for part three I June when we are back sanding the stair case and the downstairs bedrooms.

Early day for myself and Gemma today , 3 bathrooms prepared, primed and Uzin 196 smoothing compound, Already LVT tiles with grout strips on Monday . Have a great weekend everyone. And if your ginger like me don’t stay in the sun to long 😂
