Hedges are all too easy to forget about and before you know it, they are too wide and too high.
๐ Now is a great time for renovating a deciduous hedge such as Beech or Hornbeam - itโs best to stagger hard pruning over a few years to maintain a barrier and avoid overly stressing the plants.
๐ฟ Evergreen hedges such as Bay and Cherry laurel can be renovated in late spring.
It's always worth checking which type of hedge you have before pruning!
