Gates and Fences UK are part of the Gates & Fences Group. Originally formed in 2009 we have fast become UK's largest bespoke gate manufacturers. We believe in producing all gates by hand using traditional, time served techniques to create stunning and durable gates. As members of the "Made in B
ritain" campaign, you can be sure that all gates offered by the Gates & Fences Group have been constructed by us here in the UK. Our Team: Currently, we employ over 40 committed and dedicated members of staff. We work closely with South Devon College and have a range of apprenticeships including carpentry and joinery, business admin, sales and marketing. Staff roles include: General manager, yard managers, sales manager, joiners, fabricators, painters/ sprayers, sales staff, customer services, dispatch, cleaners, quality control, business admin and accounts. Factory; Based in Paignton, Devon. Our sales office located next to the Factory which is welcome to the public to view gates being manufactured. From time to time, we also have mis measured and clearance gates on site and ready to take home the same day! Contact our sales staff to find out if we have any on site. Services/ Products offered:
Wood: including driveway gates, side/ garden gates, farm/ field gates, sliding gate, 3/4 split gates, fence panels and garage doors. Produced from Redwood Pine, Iroko, Western Red Cedar or European Oak. Wrought Iron/ Metal: including driveway gates, side/ garden gates, sliding gate, railings and 3/4 split. Metal Framed Gates & Railings: Mixture of both! Deep framed and infill cladded with timber. Opening times are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. Trading Standards Approved: Gates and Fences UK are proud to announce that we are now a member of the "Buy with confidence" scheme, controlled and organized by Trading Standards. This involved Gates and Fences being tightly monitored by Trading Standards for over 6 months. During which, random customers were contacted and asked for reports along with multiple visits from the areas Trading Standards officer. This was to ensure how we operate, hold customer data, take payments, manufacture and delivery of goods all complied with the UK trading laws. More info
Charity Work: Over the years we have donated services/ products for a range of UK based charities. The main charity event we've had the pleasure in being part of was "The Little Miracles Project". Part of BBC's Children in Need - The Big Build with DIY SOS. This involved the bespoke production and installation of gates and fencing. More info
