Where Did My Token Start?
It all began on a regular shopping trip to Aldi, Lidl, and Asda. I noticed a simple but frustrating issue—there was nowhere to hang my shopping bags on the trolley before shopping. Like many, I had to throw the empty bags into the trolley, which was awkward and took up space.
That small inconvenience sparked an idea.
For a bit of fun I designed and created a custom shopping trolley token—but with a twist. This token includes a built-in shopping bag holder and magnet, letting you hang your bags neatly while you shop. It worked so well that I made a few more for friends and family. They loved it and encouraged me to start selling them.
So, I did.
You can now purchase “My Token” on Etsy! There are two handy versions:
• Magnetic Token – Stick it to your car, fridge, or anything metal.
• Keyring & Clip Token – Easily attaches to your keys or bag so it's always with you.
Each set includes four tokens, available in a variety of colours—mix and match however you like!
You can even use this token in Europe as it's the same size as a euro token/coin
