From outdated cobbles to a smooth, durable finish. 🚧✨

Nothing beats the satisfaction of a total site transformation. We recently took on this project to replace a worn-out, uneven cobblestone access with a high-quality sma surface.

The Process:

1. Full Excavation: Stripping back the old, damaged cobbles to create a clean slate.

2. Ground Preparation: Precision leveling of kerbs, good compaction of the sub-base to ensure a solid, long-lasting foundation.

3. Drainage & Ironwork: Replacement of 6 manhole covers and 2 gullies to ensuring proper water runoff.

4. The Finish: Laying and rolling of 60mm binder and 40mm SMA 10 surface course for a durable long lasting pavement.

The result? A safer, more accessible, and visually improved space that is built to last.

A huge shoutout to Harry’s crew for their hard work on the tools. It’s all about the attention to detail from the first dig to the final roll.

Well managed by allied with the surface preparation perfect for getting the grid down.

Danny’s crew were out on the aviation works with Allied Infrastructure Management Ltd at the weekend working Saturday and Sunday night.

They completed some inlay works to a dilapidated section of carriageway comprising of Power Plane Ltd planing out 120mm, spraytankerservices applying bitumen and bondcoat, breedongroup supplying the binder and surfacecourse.

Tidy job completed by Danny and the crew.
