Recently completed project: We took over the technical design from architects that had secured planning and listed building consent however we immediately realised a better layout could be achieved to maximise the potential of the space being used for a similar build cost. The client agreed to submit a new proposal to planning and listed building consent. Following planning approval we prepared a set of building regulations drawings with additional information to provide a comprehensive set of information. These drawings are a small selection of a total of around 35 drawings prepared for this project which include:
Foundation layouts, floor plans, roof plans, sections, elevations, roof framing plans, construction details, window, roof window, and door types, reflected ceiling plans, site plans, drainage layouts, services layout, lighting and electrical layouts

What a transformation! Recently completed project in Penarth which involved the total refurbishment of a relatively modern extension to a substantial house dating back to the 15th century.

The alterations included the removal of an existing trussed roof structure and the er****on of a new timber cut roof with new solid oak A-frames with a vaulted roof which creates a light and airy space. We prepared a number of design proposals which were amended to suit the clients budget and requirements and also prepared detailed technical drawings for Building Regulations and construction.

Progress photos from one of our projects which is currently on site in Pontypool. We were approached by the client after a failed planning attempt by other architects. We understood the concerns of the planning officer and made sure our proposals met the clients needs at the same time as satisfying the planning department.

The alterations have transformed this small dormer bungalow which now includes a spacious and usable first floor.
