From prep work to premium finishes, this bathroom in Stone has had the full transformation for our client Cheslyn Building Contractors

A project like this is all about the details you don’t always notice straight away, the prep, the repairs, and getting every surface perfectly smooth before the final coats even go on.

We started by restoring the window area, splicing in new timber to the sill, carrying out repairs with Repair Care, and skimming out the window surrounds and existing woodwork with Toupret woodfiller to achieve that clean, flat finish you see in the final result.

To give the space more depth and interest, each adjacent wall alternates between two colours, creating a subtle wrap-around contrast that changes as you move through the room. This approach helps break up the space while keeping a calm, cohesive feel.

For the finishes:
• Ceilings sprayed in Tikkurila AR2 White for a flawless look
• Walls finished in COAT Paints Soft Sheen in Sunday Soul and Rooted to create a warm, calming contrast
• Woodwork coated in Benjamin Moore Scuff-X Satin White for a durable, long-lasting finish

The result is a calm, modern bathroom with crisp lines, smooth surfaces, and a finish that will last.

This week we completed this hall, stairs & landing refresh in Cheslyn Hay, proving you don’t always need a full redesign to make a big impact. Simply refreshing existing colours with high quality paint can completely transform a space, brightening it, modernising it, and making everything feel crisp and considered again.

By keeping the original colour palette and upgrading the finishes, we achieved, a lighter, cleaner feel.

Our 2nd project of the year is officially wrapped up in Acton Trussell, Stafford for a returning client and what a joy this one was.

Garage Transformation in Brewood

From concept to completion, every detail of this project was meticulously curated and carried out by our team to reflect our client’s vision of a luxury, functional garage space.

Ceilings & Walls finished with Johnstone’s Durable Matt in Jet Black, Traffic Grey, and White for a timeless, high-end contrast.

Duramat Duratile flooring in Black & Grey Checker, complete with a custom Porsche crest, bringing a statement of performance and elegance.

Cupboards built from 18mm MDF and finished in Zinsser Allcoat Matt Traffic Grey to blend into the background, concealing pipework while adding purposeful storage.

Ogee architrave and skirting, coated in Zinsser Allcoat Satin Black, provide the perfect finishing touch.
