nd Dwarf Conifers. On site we have the renowned La Casa Verde restaurant offering a taste of the Mediterranean using the produce of Cumbria, with a terrace overlooking the gardens and onto the Pennines beyond,

Adjacent is Red Barn Art Gallery featuring contemporary British artists and sculptors working in a wide variety of media. We also have the Lower Red Barn which stocks a huge range of unique and unusual glassware, jewellery, tableware, ceramics, wall hangings, candles, wall sconces, tapestries, soft leather bags and much more.

Look closely at these delightful slipware bowls by Margaret Brampton and you’ll find they are encircled with well-loved song lyrics! Margaret creates these captivating bird designs using a traditional technique called 'sgraffito', scratching the details directly into the clay before adding a warm honey glaze. They are a beautiful blend of traditional craftsmanship and playful nostalgia.
