We are seeking a person to train with us as an alarms technician. Starting salary is NMW rising with skills and experience
You will be trained in all aspects of security and fire alarms (which typically takes three to four years) and you will also be certificated as an extinguisher technician. You will need to have the technical mindset to learn electro-technical skills both on the job and through more formal training routes, and you will need to demonstrate that you can learn to use hand tools and portable power tools safely and effectively. You will need to be able to use a ladder and steps safely and have a strong health and safety mindset. This job involves lone working at times.
We operate a 24/7 emergency callout service throughout Cornwall and contractually, you must be able and willing to join this rota once you are suitably competent.
The successful candidate will have GCSE at least Grade 4 (old grade C) in Science and Maths. You will need to have a clean driving licence, and this position is subject to a background and DBS check.

A nice little Intruder alarm & CCTV install this morningin the Cornish sunshine. This nano beam will beam the 4 x 8mp hikvision cameras across to the customers house where the NVR is housed. The customer can also use remote viewing on there phone.

Another great CCTV install with anti climb winch pole for easy maintenance. Using nano beam technology, these camera images are beamed across to the NVR recorder via the nano dishes. This can also be viewed on the customer's phone using the hikvision app. Thanks to Gwyn from Reach maintenance for his help with the height!
