A very odd thing happened this week and it’s stuck with me.
I was in the street not really aware who was around me when a man asked why I looked so worried.
I’m not sure why I told him but I said that I was thinking about growing my business and had some big decisions to make.
He told me this story that I’ve shared about the small plant in a small pot and it struck a chord with me. He knew nothing about me nor how relevant a plant analogy would be to me with my agricultural background.
But when I look back at choices I’ve made in terms of plants and pots it makes complete sense.
I’ve invested more than I want to count in the past with accountants, strategists, coaches and advisers but this one tiny interaction with a stranger was absolutely priceless.
Here’s hoping we all get to choose the bigger pot!
