My mission is to combine the best information from across the internet with my own experiences at home and work to live in a way that helps

climate change by reducing my own consumption, waste, and impact. Hopefully you find some inspiration for your own journey to live climate positive. Why It’s Important to Live Climate Positive

The science shows clearly that in order to avert the worst impacts of climate change and preserve a livable planet, global temperature increase needs to be limited to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Currently, the Earth is already about 1.1°C warmer than it was in the late 1800s, and emissions continue to rise. To keep global warming to no more than 1.5°C – as called for in the Paris Agreement – emissions need to be reduced by 45% by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050 [UN Net Zero Coalition]. Get Started and Vote With Your Money

6 quick and easy steps to get started with living climate positive by choosing how we spend our money. By choosing how we spend our money, we send a signal to businesses and governments about what we refuse and what we accept. Read More About Voting With Your Money

OK, yes, we do occasionally allow ourselves a bit of 'junk', and this vending machine in Ludlow seems like a good reason to do just that. Milkshakes and delicious scotch eggs and pork pies on our journey back to Pershore. NICE!

Footway Closed has to be a way of tempting would-be explorers in training. This was on my trip to a wild swimming spot on the River Lugg near Leominster. Another place from the Wild Guide to Wales book by Daniel Start, Tania Pascoe, and Wild Things Publishing

I found it, the place I'd be happy to make my home for a few days. A lovely long sand and pebble beach on the edge of Cardigan Bay. The car park is litterally at the back of the beach, public toilets (yes, that's a huge bonus for life in a motorhome 😀), good mobile internet for work, and the most amazing sunsets. Great spot for yoga on the beach

My next stop on this adventure was to a hidden waterfall from the amazing Wild Guide to Wales book by Daniel Start, Tania Pascoe, and Wild Things Publishing . The two I visited here were on the Afon Prysor in the Ceunant Llennyrch National Nature Reserve

That was a tough hike up then run down Cadair Idris. I only took the Lifesaver bottle, but there's no water at the top of the mountain so I was gasping for a drink and jump striaght in to the river on the way down to cool off and have an ice cold drink. Time for some proper refreshment at the cafe

That was HARD! Starting off from the car park at Dol Idris, following the Minffordd Path (the start is absolutely brutal as you're immediately into a long climb up a lot of steep steps), to scrambing in some places to get over one peak then up the final peak to the top of Cadair Idris. I sat in awe of the view of this impressive galcial mountain range in Snowdonia. It was a clear day and I had an excellent view all the way out to sea

28/07/2023

It's 6am and I'm waking up to this view of the edge of Llyn Mwyngil. Looking up at the Cadair Idris mountain that I'm planning to hike, climb, and run up today to get in my weekly fitness and exercise
