***POT RECYCLING SERVICE***
As part of Scone Estates ambition to work as sustainably as possible, we are proud to announce that customers to the Palace Plants Nursery can now bring back pots for other customers to use or for recycling.

As many of the black coloured pots and trays are unable to be recycled, we thank our friends at Growforth Ltd for allowing us to partner up with them and helping us gardeners to reduce our environmental impact.

It’s the time of the year for veg plot supplies and stocking up the kitchen garden. We have lettuce, cabbage, strawberries, sweet peas, lavander and bay with more to come.

We also have tomatoes and Big Tom compost to grow them in. Tomato plants are £2.50, a growbag which will hold 3 plants £6. Buy a growbag and 3 tomato plants for an £11 deal.

Only after Big Tom then buy 2 bags for £10!

The walled garden team have been busy creating the first of the nursery display beds. Viburnum ’Dawn’ hedge, unusual dwarf conifer Chamaecyparis ‘Teddy Bear’, reddy-purple leaved Bergenia ‘Ouverture’ with variegated Euphorbia ‘Silver Swan’ in the foreground.

All growing in the nursery for you to see how they perform and available to buy too.

We’re closed Monday 4th April then open from Tuesday to Friday for compost, seasonal plants, fruit trees and soft fruit plus specimen trees as well as plenty other plants

Here’s some more of the goodies just arrived in the Nursery today. Open Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm with a small selection of plants available to buy from our visitor car park when we re-open for the new season.

***PLANT OF THE WEEK***
Despite the popularity this week so far of soft fruit plants with visitors to our Walled Garden nursery, our Head Gardener has chosen Prunus ‘Kojo-no-mai’ as our plant of the week.

A stunning shrub producing white pink flowers on zig-zagging shoots this is a cracking plant to give your garden something different. Can grow up to 1.5m.

We have plants available in 5L pots.
