This is the 1st time I have expressed a personal opinion on Facebook but enough is enough. Filled up the van tonight with diesel and this has gone far enough. Oh and the van wasn't completely empty..........107 quid for 56L of diesel...... seriously people what they hell are you playing at. I remember when the fuel indicator went faster than the money indicator.
Most EU countries have helped their public by lowering fuel duty but the UK Government.........Nowt, zero, nothing, Nada. The financial situation in the UK for everyday people has been screwed since the 2007/8 financial disaster, we then had the 2011 financial crisis then Brexit then COVID and the UK government keep telling us it will get better we are Great Britain the wonderful UK we will always bounce back.........utter sh*te. Those useless pricks in Westminster couldn't grow tomatoes out a grow bag never mind an economy.
Now we have the Iran conflict and finances in the UK are getting worse with the UK Government doing "HEEHAW" about it. Food inflation is expected to hit 9% and the British people do absolutely nothing about it. For the best part of 20yrs this place has been an utter shambles.
The UK Government do not live in our world, they are completely inept, Starmer simply cannot answer any question that is put to him, he is a rabbit in the headlights, and he's a fkn lawyer. As for Reeves, she is completely out of touch she never looks comfortable when being questioned almost robot like. In any other line of work where a person performed like the UK Government, current and past you would be sacked on the spot without any comeback.
The next generation coming through simply has no chance unless they have parents with the means to help them. It's utter chaos, shambolic seriously they couldn't run a bingo fkn tea.There are complaints about the wealthy getting out of the UK........lucky fkn them most of us can't afford to up sticks.
The UK isn't Great, it's not a fair taxing nation, it's a shambles, it's broken and it's skint. When the Iran conflict is finished yes in time the petrol/diesel will reduce but don't think for a minute that it will go back to the pre-conflict price. As for the gas and electric we pay in utility bills...........that's a joke, they are bringing the price down and the average family will save £100.00 a year. ARE WE MEANT TO CELEBRATE THAT, out of touch useless clowns.
Farmers, Trades people, NHS, teachers, local authorities all struggling yet the UK Government keep upping the taxes etc. let's drill the north sea.......what a load of pish they closed our refinery which I think leaves only 1 in England for the whole of the UK. Useless and incompetent.......I don't know what the answer is but something needs to change.
