Bonthrone Security Services Ltd are seeking experienced Fire & Security Installation & Maintenance Engineers to join our team.
BSS is a dynamic, modern business which provides Fire & Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV, Access control Systems / Automation & Data to clients across Scotland and beyond. We are a Perth based business but with a strong presence in the central belt (Glasgow / Edinburgh) area.
This role offers an already experienced engineer an excellent chance to develop and progress within the Fire and Security sector. Successful applicants would enjoy a challenging and varied role installing all of the above systems to our existing and new client database, we are seeking both installation engineers and preventative maintenance & corrective engineers.
Our primary brands of equipment installed are: Hikvision, Pyronix, Paxton, Apollo, Hochiki, Kentec, EMS, BFT & Ubiquiti. Training will be provided in house to any areas necessary on a scheduled basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Service, install, maintain new and existing fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and other related systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently.
• Work closely with our clients to identify their needs and provide them with bespoke solutions that meet their requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain good relationships with clients, communicating with clients where necessary.
Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of fire and security systems.
• Excellent technical knowledge and practical skills in installation, maintenance, servicing and commissioning of fire and security systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel across Scotland as the business requires.

Job Type: Full-time
Monday to Thursday - 8am – 4.30pm
Friday – 8am – 13.30pm
Salary: Up to £36,500.00 per year plus overtime and on call retainer
Holidays: 32 days paid leave per annum
