Another big outside ticked off the list ✅.

We started this Beautiful House last week just outside Dunkeld and finished it this week . All Eaves , windows and doors were finished in Gori exterior white wood paint and Osmo oil on stained wood . We also fitted Bird Spikes( highly recommended) on all eaves to stop the House Martins 🦅 from nesting and leaving 💩 all over the walls and ground .

Big thanks as usual to David chalk painter & decorator for the help and expertise driving on the Cherry picker 👍🏻.

Now it’s time to tackle the indoor list while we have this horrible weather 🌧️ ☔️

Another Exterior finished ✅

This one was in Perth looking over the North Inch . A beautiful bottom floor town house and below , also the childhood home of John Ruskin ( a famous writer and lecturer 🤷🏻‍♂️😂) .

Thanks again to David chalk painter & decorator for the help on this one 👍🏻.

Exterior walls were scraped , filled with Masonary filler then double coated in colour . Windows were scraped , puttied and double coated in white then the door was scraped filled and finished in colour high gloss .

Finally completed the exterior harling work at Dunkeld House Hotel staff accommodation and Gun-store today giving David chalk painter & decorator a help on this big one .

As you can see the harling wasn’t in great condition so needed a good bit of preparation and then 2 coats of Johnstones Stormshield Masonary paint in brilliant white . Looking fresh and clean for all the guys driving past doing the Land Rover Experience and Clay Pigeon shooting !

Been flat out the last 3 weeks with this glorious weather grinding our way through the outside list .Clocking up the miles in the van getting outsides done in -

Perth ✅
St Andrews ✅
Dunkeld ✅
Scone ✅

Finished this outside in scone today ✅ and finishing another at Dunkeld House Hotel tomorrow ⏳

One of the jobs that was finished this week was a Kids bedroom to an office in Perth .

Feature wall on left hand side was stripped , prepped then sealed. Walls were then finished in Valspar ‘ Dry Stone’ . All woodwork was finished in Valspar ‘ Downing Street ‘

Busy busy busy……. the last few months have been absolute madness but I love it 💙.

It’s great being so busy in the quiet months of the year and i really appreciate the continued support 👏🏻.

Haven’t been posting much recently but here is a bedroom I finished today in Perth squeezed into the end of the week .

Walls painted in ‘ Valspar Fairy Magic ‘ and the woodwork painted in ‘ Valspar Midnight Velvet’ then the Mural wallpaper was hung.

I am sure the little Princess will like it when she sees it 👸🏻🦄🏰 💜

Taping & Filling then painting of a new utility room that was completely renovated from top to bottom before Christmas in Scone and hanging Wallpaper on a feature wall in a bedroom .

One ticked off the never ending list ☑️.

I would like you wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Crighton and Sons.

Thats me officially on holiday now till the 5th of January and this year has been an amazing year and i can’t thank you all enough for the continued support 🎄🍾 💙

🎅🏼 Final job of the year completed today in scone 🤶🏼

Wood chip 🙈😅 stripped off the ceiling ( all decorators worst nightmare) prepped, sanded and sealed then painted in white . Walls stripped , sealed,painted and finished in Farrow and Ball ‘ Hardwick White ‘ . All woodwork stained in redwood stain to match the original stain when the house was built .
