Stag Landscapes and Gardens require another gardener to join our team due to an increase in business.
You must have experience in garden maintenance in the domestic sector (2 years minimum), experience in using garden machinery and tools (2 years minimum), and be able to demonstrate this at the interview then at a practical trial.
You must be able to use all garden maintenance equipment and carry out gardening in mainly private gardens. This could be maintaining gardens or tidying up gardens.
As we work at various sites across Tayside and Fife, a full UK driving licence is essential. Category E trailer would be an advantage.
The working week is Monday to Friday, and a Saturday if the weather holds work up, or for the occasional work that requires it. You are expected to be at our base at 08.00 hours every day
Minimum 30 hours a week, permanent
Salary based on experience but will not be less than £9 an hour
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Experience:
• garden maintenance : 2 years (Required)
• Horticulture qualifaction
Licence:
• UK driving (Required)
The person for the job:
Stag Landscapes and Gardens requires people with experience, drive and a spirit to never give up.
You must be able to communicate with the customer and the management in a verbal and written format.
Vocational qualification in a garden maintenance an advantage or equivalent experience gained from a working environment.
The ideal candidate will grow with the business, starting as a gardener, then in time start looking at jobs, costing them, and then implementing the work.

- 30 hrs with extra available dependent on work and candidate

- between £9 and £10 dependent on experience

- local company looking to take on an experienced Gardener to do a range of domestic and some commercial gardens across tayside and Fife. Must have good communication skills, driving licence is essential as well as a good knowledge of plants. PA6 would be an advantage. Honest, reliable and with good interpersonal skills to talk with a range of customer needs.

Due to our expanding business Stag Landscapes and Gardens are looking for a part-time, temporary gardener guaranteed 16 hours per week until October 2019, starting Immediately. This position may extend after October 2019. Pay scale will be based on experience ranging from national minimum wage to £10.00 an hour.

Key duties include: -
• Grass cutting
• Digging, planting and w**ding flower beds, borders and pots
• Pruning shrubs and hedges
• Checking the health of plants and controlling pests
• Looking after the aesthetical appearance of the landscape and plants
• Cleaning and general maintenance of equipment
• Help with basic landscaping tasks including slabbing, fences and outbuildings.

Essential Requirements
• Practical skills to use tools
• An eye for detail
• Customer service skills including clear and effective communication
• Organised
• Physically fit to carry out the job
• Drivers licence
• Previous experience in a similar role
