Hi all, happy new year to all who have supported my small local business over the past years. , I’m 38 years in the decorating trade and still adding colour to the world. It was magnolia, then it was grey, this year I think it’s going to be tones from the green palette, will wait and see. Thankyou all again , for future projects big or small not just decorating but from foundation to final coat , all local trades involved don’t hesitate, get in touch, the ball can start rolling on your dream project.

Intricate paper hanging this week, an on going project north of Pitlochry, no painting this time for me, I was commissioned by the interior designer, to install the wallcoverings. The painting was completed by the painters on site, all ready for me to hang the wall coverings. 170m of beautiful specialist wall covering.

Home improvements at Fraser Ramsay painter and decorator headquarters, hall,staircase and landing, the full works. Started of with fixing timber mouldings to ceiling & also created a picture rail as we had the height to do it in the stairwell. Ceilings and frieze painted in white emulsion, picked out with a band of drop cloth 283 from farrow and ball. Doors and surrounds painted it white satin finish, lining and photo wall finished in drop cloth by farrow and ball.
Wall covering supplied from Anne at Bannermans Colour Studio, paper is from the little greene paint company, Carlton house terrace wallpaper, blue plume. Then to finish of floor coverings by tapi . On going project for a year and a half but we both got there in the end , happy weekend everyone.

Cakes anyone……? Check out Lynda and Andy’s new location for the Award Winning
Starfish Cakes & Bakes at Bertha park! Quick turnaround on this one, with lots of other trades, we stuck in and got it all done for the opening day.
All taped and filled, ceilings and wood finished in white, walls finished in their Starfish brand colour ‘reign over me’, Johnstone’s paint. Walls finished in durable Matt for durability. All done in a spray finish with the airless spray system,Just want to wish Lynda and Andy all the best and success at Bertha park!

Before and after pictures, of an entire house renovation. We have the main lounge, a phenomenal difference, going from plain colour emulsion on the walls to beautiful wall coverings. Finished off by farrow and ball designer paints to complement . I absolutely love it the final finish, more importantly the client loves it.

Ceilings painted in white emulsion
Woodwork painted in white satin

Love, love, love it , bedroom revamped, going from green walls to a boutique hotel look, client is over the the moon, herons anyone ? Paper by azzurra , white ceiling with farrow and ball, down pipe in the coving, white woodwork.

Small office , dressing room, golf gaff. Tartan wallpaper from Bannerman’s colour studio, in store & on the shelf no need to order, white ceiling , white woodwork.
