We are delighted to have received planning approval for a new build 4-bedroom dwelling in Terrington St Clement. The site is adjacent to the conservation area so the design had to be sympathetic to its surroundings whilst also needing a finish floor level 1m above the ground due to being in Flood Zone 3.

It’s not often we share news on planning approvals, however, we were thrilled to receive approval today for our proposal to extend between and above a garage at a property in a Conservation Area.

The Applicant’s goal was to utilise the existing dwellings layout as much as possible, creating a connection between the dwelling and garage and building upwards, whilst enhancing its appearance using cotemporary materials. The proposed use of coloured zinc and cladding offers a unique but complimentary addition to the host dwelling and the Conservation Area.

Exciting News - Last Thursday our project with Kaybee Developments Ltd North Luffenham was a finalist at the ProCon 2024 Awards for The Medium Residential Scheme of the year. The ProCon Awards showcase the best projects in Leicestershire and Rutland, therefore it is a huge achievement to have been a finalist and celebrate amongst other successes.

The development of three luxury homes, also known as ‘Chater Valley View’, used local Lincolnshire limestone and although the homes have their own individualities through different design elements, they are united in their use of the highest quality materials and craftmanship. The bespoke homes optimise the use of the space and the setting, overlooking the Valley, enhancing its environment and we believe the finished products are truly beautiful.

Sometimes, there is no need to extend your property, you just need to look at how you can best maximise your spaces to achieve the feel and aesthetic you desire.

We recently received some images of a completed replacement conservatory we designed to a client’s house in Rippingale. We utilised existing plinth walls to build up parapet walls with a flat roof over and feature glazed lantern. The new insulated structure provides a usable space all year round with plenty of natural day light and looks in keeping with its existing host dwelling.
