An exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional person to join my garden maintenance team, for 4 days per week, working alongside myself in some of the finest gardens in West Sussex and Surrey on a self employed basis, own transport essential and some tools preferred. This is a physically demanding role so must be fit and well. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working within the gardening industry and must be of smart appearance, great time keeping, polite and well mannered.

This is a very exciting role working in amazing private gardens and maintaining them to the highest of standards possible. I am also looking for someone who is easy to get along with and has a good sense of humour. Reliability and trustworthiness is essential. The ideal candidate will be passionate about gardening, willing to listen, learn and take extreme pride in their job.

Job role:

You must be familiar in using the following equipment to a very high standard and attention to detail.

Pedestrian Lawn Mowers

Ride on Tractor Mowers

Strimmers

Hedge Cutters

Chainsaw

Backpack Blower

Pruning

plus all garden hand tools

Knowledge of some plants an advantage

This position is for 4 days a week on site for 8am - 4pm

A company uniform will be provided
