Before and after pictures of a recent stove replacement , we removed and replaced the liner cleaned the chimney and fitted a new flue terminal , internally we reshaped the chimney to allow the flue to sit straight with a new register plate , multifuel stove and cleaned up hearthstone.

Before and after of a new multi fuel stove , hearth and Mantel install to customers specifications , stove was supplied by the customer we cleaned the chimney supplied and fittted a new 904 liner with birdguard flue terminal and new register plate also a new geocast mantel to allow fitting closer to the stove than regulations allow with timber mantels , bricks were Acid cleaned and sealed and the customer will finish of decoration.

New chimney pot , 904 flue liner , register plate and wood burning stove fitted to complete this job in Blair Atholl , due to the rear of the lintel stone the flue had to be twisted slightly to allow fitting but it seems to match the quirkiness of the cottage and definitely an improvement from how we found .

We were recommended to a customer in Blair Atholl to refurbish an old fireplace wall in a listed building , they had previously been told they should cover it back up and forget about , we think all historic stonework is worth saving for future generations to get the benefit , we sprayed and protected the old timbers refurbished the stonework made it safe and pointed it to make good then added a raised indian sandstone hearth , the chimney has been been cleaned and we will install a new flue and stove in the coming weeks to complete.
