A recent removal of two tall cypress trees in Torpoint due to the trees touching the wall in high winds and it being a listed wall, also very close to the flats next door. All The wood taken to be use for wood carving by a local wood carver.

A recent emergency call out for the team at ince castle estate in Trematon. a very dangerous ash that had been in decay for a long time before splitting six foot up the main stem. A Tricky fell due too 2/3 of the tree being completely dead but none the less the tree was safely felled and logged up. We also removed two large hung up limbs in a Sycamore and ash tree.

A Large dead chestnut removal the team tackled last week. We have been watching this tree for a while and this year it had completely died back with no new growth. Due to electrical cables and overall safety we decided it was time to be removed. the main stem was a left high for habitat due to having large cavity’s and hollow inside for wildlife to hopefully live in. Great team effort.

A chestnut removal we did recently in Millbrook. Finally had a break in the weather! The tree was removed due to having a heavy lean over the music room and a poor union at the base. Good fun day having two climbers in the tree with a Cracking view to top it off.

A bit of a tricky but fun one today in Saltash. A Tall cypress fallen in the night onto the house. Using the winch to secure the tree in place we managed too safely climb and dismantle it, slowly bringing it away from the house. Luckily there was no damage at all to the house From the tree falling. Big thanks to Owen at Western Tree Care for getting out so quickly to give a hand.

We have been busy this week with a few different call outs but please don’t hesitate to give us a call if needed. Allways happy to help!

Happy new year to everyone! thankyou to all my clients and to the team for all the hard work last year, it was a busy one!
Due to having this horrible flu that’s going around the team have had to take the week off. Here is one of the last big jobs of the year in Callington. Removal of around 60 tall beech stems. A very overgrown hedgerow that was planted many years ago but not maintained. Stumps were left high as requested by the customer.
Great job, great team effort on this one!
