This project involved the full removal and disposal of the existing green area, including overgrown trees and all old materials from site. We constructed a new reinforced retaining wall using steel reinforcement and 100mm of C40 concrete to provide long-term strength and stability, finished with a brushed concrete finish. We also removed the existing kerbs and footway and installed new dropped kerbs along with new tarmac surfacing to create safe and practical off-road parking access.
The customer had been waiting over six months for approval and planning permission from Plymouth City Council, and the project is now fully completed. The new layout now allows the customer to safely park and charge two vehicles without the issue of cables crossing the pavement and creating trip hazards. Another very happy customer with a safe, clean, and practical finished result.
