This beautiful original pine floor had seen better days, with sections affected by historic woodworm damage. Although the woodworm had long since been treated, some of the boards were beyond saving and required replacement.

🔨 What we carried out on this project:
✅ Full floor sanding to living room & hall
✅ Removed and replaced approximately 9 linear metres of damaged flooring
✅ stained to blend seamlessly with the existing floor
✅ Full restoration of the original pine floorboards
✅ Finished with a durable matt lacquer to enhance the natural beauty of the wood while providing long-lasting protection

This solid oak floor had expanded so much that it created a huge hump through the centre of the room, causing the floor to lift and buckle dramatically.

After assessing the damage, we carefully removed the affected oak boards and carried out the necessary repairs before installing replacement boards to restore the floor’s integrity. The repaired area was then professionally sanded with the rest of the floor, finished with a durable matt lacquer, blending seamlessly with the existing floor.

The result? A flat, solid floor that looks as good as new. ✅
