What's that moss actually doing to your tiles?
It might add a bit of colour to your roof, but moss holds moisture directly against the tile rather than letting it drain away. In cold weather, that trapped water can freeze and crack the tile. Moss also tends to creep under the tile edges over time, gradually lifting them at the laps, which is exactly how wind-driven rain gets in. And once a clump breaks loose in heavy rain, it's a common cause of blocked gutters too.
If you're spotting this kind of buildup, it's worth getting it looked at properly... Just avoid the pressure washer, since that strips the tile's surface and often does more damage than the moss itself!
