On Monday we have our first autumn composting event at Devonport Park!
Leaves are often a wasted resource - but don't put them in your bin - make fantastic leaf mould. So easy! We will be sharing tips on how to do this in small gardens.
We have a large leaf mould wire container beside our Devonport Ridan which we will be filling up over the coming weeks with the help of the local community including the .

Our volunteer day is this week on Thursday 20th August at Zoo Field behind Argyle. We will be harvesting veg and working on our African Keyhole Bed too.

On the third Thursday of the month we are at Central Park in Zoo Field for the volunteer day!
Volunteer day
11 am to 3 pm
Drop in and stay for as long as you want
Each time we od diffeent seasonal activities around growing and composting.

We love making compost and sharing it. We had fun at our regular session at our Ridan Composters in Devonport Park (first Monday of month) and encouraged passers by to come and help. The compost was shared with the volunteers and the Friends Of Devonport Park

We have started to make an African keyhole bed at Zoo Field! A great way to compost in situ and will look wonderful too.

Come and help us with the next stage at our volunteer day on 20th August.

Garden Organic are a fabulous resource for growers and composters!
Good to find out what you can grow in August - check our our newsletter for the workshop we are supporting at Kintsugi Community Garden on Thursday 13th August, 11 till 2 where Tess Wilmot and Hayley Rogers will be helping us get growing for the autumn and winter! Also advice on how to keep growing in this dry weather.
Free pea and mizuna seeds for everyone who comes.

Sunday 16th July - BBQ celebrating the first year of the Kintsugi Garden Coop managing the Kintsugi Community Garden!

We help build the fertility and skills for growing more fruit and vegetables to share with the community through the Keyham Community Fridge
