Making our pergola more weather resistant. We live where when its sunny its amazing and when it rains it rains. This lovely pergola by has been nice addition to our garden last summer. However after 1 whole year of all the seasons we have realised we need to make it weather proof on the sides. Thats where the rain creeps in and you have to pop all the cushions away. We wanted something we can use all year round so we decided to bridge the gap on both sides. Thanks to bradfords building supplies we decided to opt for an up and over u shape batton. Butt them all together to make it weather tight. Come in handy as my kitchen is in the garden whilst the floor is being done 🤣 with rain due to hit us next week let's hope it stays dry!
We will also be doing the other side and when thats done time to create an outdoor cooking space for all year round
I will be using a decking stain for the battens just to keep it weather resistant and for longevity.

My friday home project. Whilst im waiting for new flooring to finally be laid i decided the farmhouse table needs some tlc. Went and bought myself a new sander thankyou B&Q this made light of my work 🤣 followed up by some its like shrek in colour I absolutely adore this piece of furniture.

I love new build windows. I always deep clean a house before I paint its a game changer nobody wants a lovely painted room to look out onto a grimey window ledge for all the dirt to blow in.

Not my fav paint to work with but 4 coats later we have a nice masculine bedroom with a hint of yellow. First new build ive worked on and this once all white house has had a pop of colour in each room. Simple but effective.

The apple room. Full deep clean inc windows inside and out full paint and gloss. This room previously had little blue waves on it so had to fill sand and prime first. Already for its new owner!

Im not a professional oven cleaner but for this ovens first clean it came out better than expected. Brilliant product the sides need to be redone but I didn't have the luxury of leaving over night as I wouldn't be back for another day so worked with the time I had.
