Sunshine at last! A well timed site meeting in Kingsand today with Crayon will be overseeing Contract Administration & Principal Designer roles for this house refurbishment. We look forward to sharing more soon.

Plymstock kitchen complete

Here we knocked the kitchen and dining room into one including adding a wall to separate the kitchen and utility. Finished with a nice oak feature wall panelling and the kitchen we installed from Howdens.

The customer undertook the electrics himself being a sparky

First part of the bungalow completed

Here you can see in the first picture the bungalow was very tired. Kevin & Lisa have not long moved into their retirement project and now the first part is completed.

We have turned two bedrooms and an old bathroom into a main bedroom with en suite and a big walk in wardrobe

Been very quiet on our socials lately but will be looking to improve on this in the coming weeks and months. Work has been nice and busy with some very exciting projects booked in for 2026

We have been busy working out at Venton with a full house refurb including adding a small double storey extension off the back, a new porch and a front extension

In Woolwell we are doing a double storey off the back with the bottom part being a basement. The weather has really affected progress in January but in the last couple of weeks we have managed to push this job on.

With Glenholt we have started on a house refurb for our returning customers Kev and Lisa. We have completed phase one which is looking nice and will update in the next few days

Plymstock we are undertaking a knock through to make the kitchen and dining room into one and this has made a big difference. This one is close to completion with new a kitchen and utility created

Also cracking on at City College, fitting fire doors, making adaptions to toilets and lots of exciting jobs to progress on with in the summer

And finally Brixham which is below:

Yvette and Jon have been 1st class from start to finish. These guys didn’t move far, actually only across the road from a house to a bungalow and had to adapt to a smaller home. We have added an extension onto the back to which was going to be the kitchen but they had a change of heart and decided to move the kitchen into the lounge and move the lounge into the new extension with a nice outlook out onto the garden. We finished this in early Jan but have been awaiting splash backs and a few finishings before taking a few pictures and wanted to get the extension painted outside. Hopefully Fineline will be back soon to sort this after a very wet few months

Looking for a carpenter/improver to mainly undertake extensions and refurbs. We also have a contract on the commercial side with this year filled with good projects booked in.

We are prepared to help you along the way if your experience isn’t quite there and all we ask is a willingness to get stuck in

We aren’t just a one trick team. We get involved from the ground up so you will need to be flexible in your trade skillset, to be prepared to help with Groundworks and all other tasks until the carpentry work begins if needed to keep you busy full time.

If you are unreliable please don’t waste our time as it will not work out

Rates are all dependent on experience

Driving license is a must

With a very busy 2025 coming to an end, we now have a of couple weeks off to recharge. We are excited for 2026 with a very healthy workload as we look forward to some very exciting projects.

JOB ALERT :

🔷 🔶 Looking for carpenter and labourer to help with our current work load

We mainly undertake extensions and refurbs but we have won a contract on the commercial side which will hopefully be going from strength to strength in the New Year also

We aren’t just a one trick team. We get involved from the ground up so you need to be flexible in your trade skillset, to be prepared to help with Groundworks and all other tasks until the carpentry work begins

Labourer will be assisting the trades and keeping the site nice and tidy. A driving licence would be a massive advantage or you will need to get yourself to a pick up point or to the site yourself

If you’re unreliable please don’t waste our time as you will not workout

Great Berry Road all completed and signed off

On this one we added an annexe off the back of the house for the owners mum to move into so they can help when needed and to be on hand

We added a kitchen/front room, new bedroom with built in wardrobes and en-suite.
Customers took the painting on with this one and are now deciding on the bottom half of the house after we rendered the main house

Really happy with the way this job progressed and the perfect customers to work with along the way which makes it a lot easier

Bathroom in Hooe all complete

Although we tend to stay away from bathrooms this one was a special request from Jon’s mother in law while they where away on holiday so it gave us the chance to get stuck in and ready for their return.

We started off with the rip out and moving a couple of walls to make room for a 900x1800 style shower base and getting the waste in the floor. The last shower was on a big plinth which wasn’t needed. At a later date the glass to the end of shower is to be added due to a couple design changes James Kitchen Electrical Services

Full re-plaster
Shower panels installed
New vanity units with a panel upstand
Stone sills installed

New floor required and 9mm ply laid for lvt flooring laid by home flooring

Painting covered by fineline decorators

Plumbing by Corey at pure flow

Silicone finished off by Plymouth sealants

And us for the rip out, new floor and ceilings, installing new skirts and arks, vanity units, shower panels and new internal doors throughout the house.

All complete on this one in Ashburnham Road

We took down the old conservatory and single storey extension to open up the back of the house and put back a more useable extension with an open plan kitchen/dining room and toilet to the side.

Customers here have taken on the painting and now have the task to finish the internal finishes and garden.
